Acceptable use policy

Kinnomy is a private place for households. This policy keeps it safe and working for everyone. It is part of our terms of service.

Kinnomy is for running a home and the lives connected to it. Use it in a way that respects the people in your household and the people you add to it.

• Break the law, or use Kinnomy to help anyone else break it.
• Monitor or control someone without their knowledge, or pressure anyone to share their location. Location sharing is a choice each person makes for themselves.
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including through Talk or comments.
• Store unlawful content, including content that exploits children, or content you do not have the right to store.
• Upload malware or anything designed to harm devices or data.
• Access what is not yours: other households, other people’s accounts, or parts of the service you are not allowed to reach.
• Probe or overload the service, except responsible security research that follows our security guidelines.
• Scrape or copy the service with automated tools, or resell access to it.
• Misuse the AI features, for example by trying to get around allowances or caps.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Send spam, such as mass invitations to people who did not ask for them.

When you add details about someone else, such as a profile without a login, a contact, or medical notes on the Emergency card, add only what is needed to run the household, and keep it accurate.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break this policy. Where appropriate, we will explain what happened and give a chance to fix it. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
