There are no ads in Kinnomy. Not on Free, not on Household, not on Household+. Your household data is never used for advertising, and it is never sold to anyone.
AI
Never used to train AI models.
The parser, the weekly brief and memory search run on a built-in engine. When the AI features are switched on, the text needed to answer a request is processed by an AI model to produce that answer. Your household data is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else’s.
Location
Off by default. No history. Ever.
Location sharing is opt-in for each person. It updates only while that person has the app open or taps Share now. Only the latest point is kept, it expires after 4 hours by default (the owner can choose 1 to 24), and there is no location history.
Documents
Private storage, checked every time.
Documents are stored in a private folder. There is never a public link. Every download checks that you are a member of the household with access to that document. Sensitive categories default to Adults only.
Your data
Take it with you, or delete it.
Export everything as JSON and CSV at any time. Delete the household at any time. Leaving should be as easy as joining.
Honest limits

A privacy page that only lists strengths is not being straight with you.
No native mobile app yet
Kinnomy runs in the browser and can be added to the home screen. Native apps are on the roadmap.
No bank connections
A limit, and also a privacy choice: nobody hands us a bank login. Opt-in connections are a plan for later.
