These terms are an agreement between you and Kinnomy (“we”, “us”) about your use of Kinnomy, including the website, the app and related services (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to create an account. To own a household with a paid plan, you must be old enough to form a binding contract. Younger children can be added by an adult as profiles without a login.

  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address up to date.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at lewis_dlp@hotmail.com if you think someone else has used your account.

A household is a shared space inside Kinnomy. The person who creates a household is its owner. The owner can invite members, set roles and permissions, and manage billing. Members can see and change items according to their role and each item’s visibility setting (Household, Adults only or Private).

When you add information about other people, such as members without a login, contacts, or medical notes on the Emergency card, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that you will keep it appropriate and up to date.

  • Free. The Free plan costs nothing and has the features and limits described on the pricing page.
  • Trial. Every new household starts with 30 days of Household+ at no charge, with no card needed. When the trial ends, the household moves to the Free plan unless the owner chooses a paid plan. Nothing is deleted; paid modules become read-only.
  • Paid plans. Household and Household+ are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, to the household owner. One subscription covers the whole household. Payments are processed by our payment processor.
  • Renewal and cancellation. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. The owner can cancel to stop future charges; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then the household moves to Free.
  • Refunds. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded.
  • Price changes. If we change prices, we will tell the household owner in advance, and the new price will apply from the next billing period.

Everything you and your household put into Kinnomy (events, tasks, notes, documents, messages and so on) remains yours. You give us a limited permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you and your household. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

You can export your household’s data as JSON and CSV at any time. The household owner can delete the household at any time.

Some features, such as Tell the house and document reading, suggest plans or fields based on what you type or upload. Suggestions can be wrong. Review them before you save. Where an AI model is used, each household has a monthly allowance, as described on the pricing page.

  • Not an emergency service. The Emergency card is a place to keep information. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
  • Not professional advice. Money features help you keep track. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Kinnomy does not move money or connect to banks.
  • Estimates are estimates. Travel times such as “about 8 min from home” are straight-line estimates. Location updates only while the app is open or when someone taps Share now.
  • Reminders can fail. Emails can be delayed or filtered. Do not rely on Kinnomy as the only reminder for anything critical.

You agree to follow our acceptable use policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break it.

We work to keep Kinnomy available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature that is central to a paid plan, we will tell affected owners in advance.

You can stop using Kinnomy at any time. The owner can delete a household, and you can ask us to close your account at lewis_dlp@hotmail.com. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other people. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to export your data.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kinnomy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.

You agree to defend and hold Kinnomy harmless from claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms, to the extent the law allows.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing a claim, please contact us at lewis_dlp@hotmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Kinnomy, lewis_dlp@hotmail.com.
