Bills and budgets, part of Money

Every bill, every split, one place.

Track what the house owes and who owes whom. Bills schedule the next one, splits keep themselves fair, and budgets show where the month is going.

Bills

Mark paid. The next one is already scheduled.

A bill has an amount, a due date, a repeat, an autopay flag, who pays it and how it splits. When it is paid, tap Mark paid: the payment is recorded in the bill’s history and the next one is scheduled.

  • Payment history for every bill
  • Autopay flag, so you know which ones look after themselves
  • Due dates on the shared calendar

The 20% flag

A bill that jumps gets noticed.

When a bill comes in more than 20% above the average of its last three payments, it gets flagged. The water bill that was $57 and is now $76 is worth a look before anyone pays it.

Questions

About bills and budgets

Does it move money?

No. Kinnomy keeps track of money. You pay bills and each other the way you already do, then record it.

Can we use it just for splitting costs?

Yes. Expenses, splits, balances and settle up work on their own. Many roommates start there.

Can I bring in expenses from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Expenses can be imported from a CSV file.
