Opt-in per person
Each person decides for themselves.
Only while the app is open
It updates while that person has the app open, or when they tap Share now. There is no background tracking.
Only the latest point
Each new point replaces the last. There is no location history.
It expires
After 4 hours by default. The owner can choose anything from 1 to 24 hours.
Where a location app still wins
If you need continuous tracking in the background, or a tag on a bag or a pet, Kinnomy is not that. It is built to answer “is everyone home?” without keeping a record of where anyone has been.
