Accessibility statement

Kinnomy wants Kinnomy to be usable by everyone in a household, whatever their age or ability. This statement covers this website.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

• Contrast: text and buttons are checked against the WCAG contrast ratios with automated measurements, not by eye.
• Keyboard: every link, button, menu and form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Skip link: a “Skip to content” link appears first on every page.
• Structure: each page has one main heading, landmarks for navigation and content, and headings in order.
• Motion: animations only run if your device has not asked for reduced motion. With reduced motion on, all content is shown without animation.
• Images: decorative illustrations are hidden from screen readers; meaningful images have text alternatives.
• Forms: every field has a label, and errors are described in words next to the field.
• Live demos: results update in regions that screen readers announce.

• Some pages we do not build ourselves, such as the payment processor’s checkout fields, may not meet the same standard.
• The printable household checklist is designed for paper; the same content is available as a regular web page.
• We are still improving. If something gets in your way, we want to know.
